Karalee Moedl Taylor

After graduation, I attended BYU-I and studied Health Science.  While attending school, I also worked for the Ririe School District.  It was totally wierd at first! Going to teacher inservice days were very awkward sitting next to Mrs. Packebush and Coach Dodd!!    But, after 4 years, I learned to appreciate them, and some of them are now my greatest friends.  While attending BYU-I my roommates and I had a bet on who could get a date online first.   I totally lost, but actually ended up meeting my husband online because of that silly bet.  Bryan and I met in early 2005, and were married in October of that same year.  Thats still strange to me, and we usually tell people that we met through a mutual friend!!
We continued living in the Rigby area until 2008 when we bought our first home in Pocatello, Idaho. Bryan works as a Senior Investigator for United States Investigative Services (USIS). We welcomed our first of 3 sons in June of 2008, Grant.  in 2010 I began working for Onsite Health, a mobile health company, as a Hearing Conservationist.  I traveled once or twice a month to different military bases and performed the hearing test for our military personnel. After our second son Dane was born in 2012, I decided to stay at home full time.  That was a good thing because (surprise) we welcomed our third son, Clark in 2013!!  Yikes!  Our life is very busy with 3 young boys, but we wouldn't change it for anything.  We are currently living in Chubbuck, Idaho and loving life.  I hope that the past 10 years has found each of you much happiness as well!

Kathleen Adams Turner

After graduation, I went to ISU and also did a semester at BYU-I. I met my husband, Dustin Turner, at ISU and we became best friends. We were great skiing buddies and loved spending time in the outdoors. I graduated in 2007 with my BS in Dental Hygiene. Shortly after I graduated, Dustin and I got married. Dustin finished up his last year at ISU and he graduated in 2008 with his BBA in Marketing. I have been working as a Dental Hygienist in Idaho Falls ever since I graduated from the program. Being a Hygienist has been an adventure of its own and it's been a great field to be in. Dustin started his own business in 2008 in the Sign industry. He loves being his own boss and it's been great for us, because we can spend a lot of time together. We bought our house in 2009, just outside of Idaho Falls, where we currently live. We have enjoyed doing projects together, such as finishing our basement and putting in our yard, and we also have enjoyed several years of traveling to fun places and countries. In 2010 we got a dog, and I am only mentioning this because I found a funny photo. I am one of "those" people, who occasionally would find it funny to dress him up in clothes and costumes. I sure got a kick out of a hat I found for him. He had to adjust a bit after we had a baby. Last November we were blessed with our little boy, Landon. It has been so amazing to have him in our lives. Since Landon was born, I work just a couple of days a week, and I love having more time to spend with Dustin and Landon. We've really enjoyed the last 10 years. I am excited to catch-up with everyone!

Laura Johnson Grant

After graduation I started the nursing program at BYU-Idaho. I graduated in 2005 and moved to Salt Lake to work at the University Hospital. Soon after moving to Salt Lake I met my husband, Matthew Grant. We were married in January of 2006. We lived in Salt Lake about a year and a half before moving to Philadelphia where my husband attended business and law school at the University of Pennsylvania. We lived there for 4 years except for our summers which were spent in New York City and San Diego doing internships. We enjoyed our time on the East coast. My husband graduated in May of 2011 and accepted a job at a law firm, Latham and Watkins, in San Diego. We moved to San Diego in the fall of 2011 and have been here since then. We have 4 kids: Camilla (6), Mary (4), Dallin (2), and Caroline (3 months). Unfortunately I won't be able to make the reunion this year, but hope to see you all again in the near future!

Kayla Greenhalgh Stokes

I now know what Mr. Barber meant when he used to tell us to not wish our lives away. Back then, I just couldn’t wait to “grow up”! Now what would I give to slow time down. Ten years sure can go by quickly!
After graduation, I was determined to get out of Idaho so I went on an American History tour across the United States. We flew to Virginia and made our way across the U.S. in a month. I was able to see some amazing sights and meet some wonderful people. I went to college mostly at BYU-Idaho with one summer semester at BYU. I met my husband, Brad Stokes, my freshman year, but we didn’t begin dating until our sophomore years. I tried to convince him I knew a lot about hunting and fishing to get him to like me, and I guess it worked. We were married six months later in April of 2005! During our summers off we worked in Sacramento, CA selling pest control and then returned home for school in the fall and winter. We graduated together in 2007. I graduated with a BS in Health and English Education.  Shortly after Brad and I were married, I was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder. At first it was very frightening, but I’ve learned how to manage it now and plan to live a long, healthy life! Our first daughter, Adyson, was born in March 2007. After she was born, we moved a few times, but finally settled in Fallon, NV where Brad is a State Farm Insurance Agent. We had our second daughter, Macey, in 2009 and our third daughter, Brynlee, last October. My girls are my life!  I began teaching clogging lessons at the dance studio here in Fallon about two years ago. In my spare time I enjoy gardening, running, being a “dance mom”, and keeping books for Brad’s business. I am excited to see everyone and hope you are all doing well!

Amber Baldwin McArthur

In a way the 10 years since graduation have gone fast but then again it feels like a long time ago when we were 18 year old kids with no responsibility! The years have come and gone though!

After graduation, I attend Northwest College in Powell, Wyoming.  I played on the basketball team and had lots of great experiences.  For about the 1st semester I was SO homesick and really wondering why the heck I had went to Wyoming for college.  I missed my family and all my comfortable surroundings!  But with time I began to really like it and made some great friends on my team. I loved being able to continue to play basketball and had lots of long bus rides and games.  I graduated from Northwest with my associates 2 years later and then moved back home to attend BYU-Idaho.  In my 2nd year at Northwest I met Spence McArthur.  I was determined not to like him, let alone marry him!  But my mind was changing fast and we dated for about a year and a half and we were married November 18, 2005.  We moved into an apartment in Rexburg and kept going to school at BYU-Idaho.  In 2007, I graduated in Social Studies Secondary Education and started teaching 7th grade at Midway Middle School in Rigby. I still say that after teaching 7th grade, I know now why parents beat their kids!:)  I really did love teaching though and had some great students and teachers that I taught with. My husband, Spence, graduated a year later with his Business Management degree.  In 2008, we moved to Ogden, Utah where we currently live. We manage a storage unit facility that is connected to our house.  In November 2008, we had our first baby girl, Mia.  She is a sweet girl and we have loved every minute of having her! In August of 2010, we had another baby girl, Ellie, who has been talking since she was tiny and keeps us laughing.  Then in August 2012 we had our 1st boy, Graham. We have loved having a boy.  He is a chubby little thing and I love it!  Spence graduated with his MBA last year so he is finally done with school!  He works for Wasatch Peaks Credit Union in Ogden as the vice president of lending.  I stay busy at home with our kids and managing the storage units.  We are looking for a house to buy and hopefully something will come up soon for us!

Melissa Harmon Brunson

Happy 10 year anniversary everyone!! It has really gone by fast, I remember being in school thinking graduation was never going to happen, but here we are 10 year later! So what have I been doing these past 10 years? Well after high school I married Ben Brunson June 12th 2004 in the Idaho Falls Temple. In 2005 we had our first little boy, however he was born at 24 weeks and only lived for about 30 minutes. He was very tiny but was a huge blessing to our family.  I then worked at Melaleuca at the call center for a year and then quit when I had our first daughter Katelyn in 2006.  Since then I have been a stay at home mom while my husband attends school at BYUI. In 2008 we had our second daughter, Jenna. About two years after Jenna was born I started school online with the University of Phoenix to get my degree in Elementary Education. After receiving my associates I decided that I no longer wanted to go into Elementary Education anymore. Since then I have not gone back to school because we added our second son, Jeffery to our family in 2011 and life has since then been a bit crazy. We now are working on moving into a town house in Rexburg and we are expecting another little boy in September of this year.  My husband is still working on his schooling since he has been taking classes here and there while he works a full time job but we hope he'll be able to graduate in 2015. We then plan on making our lives a bit more adventurous but for now we're still living the life of college students. I don't have a whole lot of pictures of me because I'm always the one running the camera but here is a few.

Wedding day!!

Shot my first deer in Northern Idaho.
Somehow the deer didn't quite make the picture lol

Gary Garcia

Well, I can't believe it has been ten years already.  Time really flew by fast.  I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying life.  As for my story over the past ten years a few months after graduation I served a 2 year mission to Santiago Chile.  It was a great experience and I was able to make a lot of new friends down there.   After 2 years I arrived home to Ririe in the fall of 2005 and began dating my future wife Cortney (Simmons).  We had actually dated a little my senior year of high school and were married in June of 2006.  Also that year I began school at BYU-I where I graduated with degree in Business/Finance.   During my last year of college I decided I wanted to join the Air Force and attend Officer Training School.  It was a competitive process to get in but I was fortunate to get great recommendation from employers and Congress Mike Simpson of Idaho whom I had worked for the previous fall, all which helped me to be selected by the Air Force.  Officer Training School is held at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery Alabama. It is a 13 week program and upon graduation I became a Second Lieutenant  (2LT) in the United States Air Force.  After graduation Big Blue moved us to Pensacola, Florida so I could attend flight training at Naval Air Station Pensacola.  After 13 month of training and graduating with wings, we were assigned to the Air Force Special Operations Command at Hurlburt Field Florida operating the U-28.  We purchased a home in Navarre, Florida as we expect to be here for a while.  The past ten years have been great to us.  We still don't have any children but we have had some great opportunities to travel including two cross country road trips, New York, Washington DC, Las Vegas, California, New Orleans,  Atlanta, and Mexico to name a few.  It still seems weird to call the south home, but I am slowly getting used to it.  Unfortunately, training will not allow us to make it to the reunion, but I wish you all well.
